I have a great spring makeup look for you. Pinks and purple always make a great makeup pairing. In this video I show you how the Milk Makeup pigments actually look on the eye.
I've got a fun makeover for you all. I was challenged to do a makeover for a model with a floral headpiece and a bright green tropical dress. What kind of makeup would you do? Check out my look below!
I wanted to share a look that I did on myself a few weeks ago. I got to play with some new products including the Senna 90s Palette and Pnk Digger lipstick palette. I love the girly, glam look that I came up with. Check it out!
A few weeks ago I attended my cousin's wedding. I was so honored to do the bridal party's makeup but I also had time to give myself a little spring makeover. Check it out!
I want to share a makeover that I recently did on my girl Leslie. We were on vacation together and I decided to make her over as a treat. She's also a MUA and like me, no one ever does her makeup. I turned her into a mini-me, using all of the products in my makeup bag but making them work for her deeper complexion, and it was a success! Check it out!
Whenever I feel like wearing color, pink and purple always seems to be a good combo. It's bright but wearable at the same time. Today i'm showing you a look I wore to the first day of LA IMATS. During these shows I like to rock a "Beat Face". Check it out!
Happy Thursday. Today I wanted to share some pictures of makeup I did for my best friend's engagement shoot. It's become a tradition for me to do the engagement makeup for my besties that get married. Today I'm going to show you a pretty purple and pink look we did for her outdoor shoot. Take a look!
Happy Tuesday! I wanted to share a look that I did for a wedding a few weeks ago. I noticed the purples are becoming a staple bridal look. You can definitely add color while making it more neutral. Take a look!
It's tutorial time! I wanted to make sure and share this gorgeous smokey purple look that I wore to the New York Makeup Show. I used my new favorite palette - Ofra Cosmetics Diamonds are Forever Palette. If you love bright colors and dramatic eyes, this look is for you!
Tis the season for Weddings! I've been busy booking more clients now that it's a new year and i'm graduated from school. I wanted to share a pretty fresh bridal makeover I did recently. Yay for more before and afters!
Happy early Valentines Day! I wanted to make sure to get up a look in time for Valentines Day on Thursday or if you're going out this weekend. This whole look is made from drugstore makeup products so it's very affordable and you should be able to find dupes in your own collection. I'm back with another bridal post. I have a few shots of a pink and purple makeover that I recently did on a summer bride. As a bonus, I also included a bridesmaids' makeover. Check it out!
I'm back with another FOTD. This time I'm featuring the Laura Gellar brand. I picked up a bunch of her items during a Hautelook Sale and came up with a pretty look for you all.
I'm back with another fun post. I had the chance a few weeks ago to attend an awesome event - The Bravo Real Housewives Tour. Who here loves the Real Housewives series? I do, I do! This tour went to different cities around the country and it featured a panel discussion with some of our favorite Housewives from the hit Bravo series. They came to Atlanta and my girls and I thought it would make a great girls night out. We dressed up, I did some makeup and we had an awesome time.
I'm back with another tutorial! This one is just for Valentines Day. I did a pink and purple sparkley cut crease for those of you who've been asking for another bright look. I also used a familiar trio which is and oldie but goody.
I wanted to share a look from a recent bridal trial. I love working with Southeast Asian brides. They're not afraid of color and drama in their wedding makeup.
Today I'm brining you another fun, colorful look using the 88 Matte Palette from www.sedonalace.com. You all know I'm a huge fan of matte colors so this palette is right up my alley. I would still recommend using an eye base to maximize pigment and lasting powder.
I'm back with another video tutorial and review. I'm sure many of you are probably familiar with the mineral makeup company Everyday Minerals. They recently contacted me to review one of their palettes from their Lavendar Collection. I remember ordering from them back when I first started my blog when everyone was obsessed with mineral makeup, lol. I think they were one of the first to give Bare Escentuals a run for their money with affordable, high quality mineral makeup.
Back from the Holidays! How was everyone's break? I was actually sick the entire time unfortunately. The combination of a night of caroling, long workday and then drive straight to Orlando knocked me out for the entire Christmas break. I sat on the couch the entire time in my new snuggie, reading the TrueBlood books and taking meds, lol. Because of that, no post yesterday :( I'm still trying to recover so in the meanwhile, so I'll show you a look I created a few weeks ago.
I wanted to use my 96 palette from http://www.starsmakeuphaven.com/ so that those of you with similar palettes could recreate the look. I also feel better when I go back to old palettes I haven't used in a while :) I wore this look during a shoot. I like to have my makeup done for the most part when I do clients...that way they'll have a preview of my makeup artist abilities. Afterward, I wore this look on a trip to target for Christmas ornament shopping. I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror in the bright store lights and whoa this look was bright in person, lol.
The final look!
I'm going to try and upload a new video this week. In the meantime, thanks for sticking with me. Ciao Bellas!
FTC Disclosure: I received the 96 palette from the company and have reviewed it in a past entry. I have not been paid to write this post and am not affiliated with the company.
Check out my tutorial using the In the Gallery Quad from the MAC Makeup Artists Collection. The colors are very wearable...matte pinks and purples. I kicked it up a notch by adding Violet Trance Eyeshadow to my outer v...this was a single eyeshadow also released with this collection. This is a subtle yet smokey pink purple eye great for a date or a night out.
Check out my video tutorial! I finally kept one under 10 minutes, lol.
